The story and premise were good. The acting was perfect. But the execution was not. It started strong and then dropped.
Maybe the target audience were the late Gen Zs and the Gen Alphas. Because for someone like me who lived through and was affected by the Asian Financial Crisis (and dot Com bubble as well), they weren't able to keep my interest halfway through the series. And mind you, I love historical stories especially ones I've lived through.
If there was any redeeming factor, it's the many random easter eggs that late Gen Zs and the Gen Alphas will not spot. Oh, and the nostalgia effect which the younger generation wouldn't know.
